45 Homemade Personal Care And Beauty Products
Make your own personal care and beauty products
Homemade personal care and beauty products always seem more expensive than buying them. While it might be true about the initial investment in the long term you end up saving money.
If stored properly these ingredients are good for a long time. Usually, they are versatile and can be used in multiple ways.
Not only we spend a lot of money on personal care products but are also full of toxins, preservatives, and possible carcinogens.
No matter how expensive your personal care products are they still contain harmful ingredients. You can check the safety rating of your products check Skin Deep database.
Out of curiosity, I wanted to check if the more expensive facial creams are safer than the ones that you can buy at the drug store. I proceeded to type in google search “best facial cream”.
My eyes were caught by the ad area where it was listed a $1200 facial cream. After picking my jaw up off the floor and having a “Who the f… pays that much for a facial cream?” moment, I checked the Skin Deep database.
The $1200 facial cream is rated the same as a $20 one. You would expect at that price to have safer ingredients.
Here is a list of homemade personal care and beauty products recipes.
