There ‘s nothing more frustrating than sitting in front of the mirror at first hour in the morning with only a few minutes to go and a head full of unruly hair.

Either you pressed the snooze button one too many times or your kids demanded most of your time you can still look polished when you walk out the door.

Here are the 18 five-minute hairstyles to help you look polished anytime.

All these hairstyles can be done easily in 5 minutes and you only need bobby pins, clear elastic bands or hair ties.

You also don’t need a lot of hair products. With some hair mousse or hairspray, you are going to be able to look fabulous in no time.

1.Ponytail twist

Split your hair into two sections, one larger than the other. Twist the smaller section and then wrap it around the larger section.

Secure it with bobby pins and you are good to go.

2. Knot pony

Apply some hair mousse on your hair then swipe to the side, split it in two and knot it (yes, knot it) twice.

Secure the pony with a clear elastic band and bobby pins and you are done.

Braids are everywhere right now. If braiding is not part of your skills then try a twisted braid.

The upper side of this braid is similar to a french braid only twisted instead of braided. For the lower side split our hair in two and twist each part than twist together.

If you are in a need for a more elegant hairstyle this 5-minute updo is perfect for you.

Put your hair in a low ponytail. Split your hair above the hair tie and pass your ponytail thou. Now roll up your ponytail and pin it in place.

I love, love, love this hairstyle. It’s very easy to make and it’s going to take no more than 5 min to make.

This is a slightly modified French braid. I already tried this hairstyle a couple of times and got so many compliments.

For this hairstyle you need to take a front section of your hair, twisted than take it to the back of your head and pin it. Repeat the same steps on the other side.

Leave two strands of hair at sides of your face and secure the rest in a low ponytail.

After the ponytail is secured, bring the front hair strands to the back knot them above the hair elastic, wrap the ends of your hair around the ponytail and secure them with a bobby pin.
